Cookie policy

What are these technologies

Cookies are small files associated with the browser. sessionStorage retains data until the session or tab is closed, while localStorage may retain state until the application or user deletes it. These mechanisms do not automatically have the same purpose or duration.

Strictly necessary cookies

• PHP sessions for the security and continuity of RoConvert tools.
• WordPress authentication and security cookies only when an account or the Client Portal is used.
• Cryptographically bound session cookies for a dataset used in the private viewer or an authorised anonymous link from the Portal; they are Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict.
• The Portal session technically expires after 30 minutes of inactivity and no later than 8 hours; the demo session is limited to 30 minutes.

Browser storage, no cookie

• The language choice is passed through the URL and the public wrapper does not persist it in sessionStorage or localStorage.
• RoConvert may retain technical identifiers and the state of an active job in localStorage for resumption; entries are removed upon completion, cancellation or expiry. File content is not stored there by this function.
• The Portal viewer may keep only orientation-map presentation preferences, such as its layer and size, in localStorage; these do not contain access tokens or project data.
• For an authorised anonymous link, the Portal retains a secondary rotating resume token in sessionStorage, only in the current tab. The link's original bearer token is not retained in the browser.
• The Portal administrator interface may retain the technical state of an upload locally for resumption; this is available only in the authenticated context.

Third-party services and identifiers

The contact form and calculator form use Google reCAPTCHA as a necessary security measure against abuse; in the calculator, the script is requested only when the form is submitted. Embedded Google Maps start with the neutral local address about:blank, and the browser does not contact Google until the user explicitly presses “Load Google Map”. After loading, Google may receive technical data and read or set identifiers under its own policies. Other map providers used in tools or viewers may receive technical data when that feature is opened.

Masuram.ro does not intentionally place its own advertising cookies. Aggregated indicators of the quotation journey are calculated on the server without marketing cookies and without names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, coordinates or file names.

Condition for non-essential technologies

This version does not include a CMP or consent banner. Publishing the inventory does not activate or authorise an optional category.

Embedded Google Maps remain technically blocked until the user makes an explicit choice; simply scrolling or having the map appear in the visible area does not load it. Google reCAPTCHA remains active on protected forms as a necessary security measure against abusive submissions.

How you control storage

You can view, block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary items may prevent sign-in, resuming a job, submitting a form or opening the private viewer.
